Here’s a chance to take part in our sixth Tribute weekend to the Grandfather of Wargaming. Donald Featherstone.
This year we’re hosting an American Civil War Weekend using the Glory Hallelujah supplement for Black Powder. We have over 8,000 finely detailed figures to re-create the Battle of Chancellorsville.
The weekend has all you’ll need to play the game out using our sculpted terrain and figures.
In addition, we host a three course dinner on the Saturday night, collar and jacket required. There is the annual award for the most dapper dressed General. There will be an entertainment during the evening with after dinner speaker.
There will be a vote for the most Gentlemanly wargamer over the weekend, with their name being added to the hall of fame on there already.

Re-fight the Battle of Gaines Mill, using our own adaptation of Fire and Fury, these include Regimental and Brigade rulesets to allow command and weapon variants.
All you need to do is turn up on the day, no setup of terrain or tables, choose a side! Then start playing, I provide all the paraphernalia, dice rulers etc.
Lunch is included as is the Tea and coffee. All you need to do is turn up and at the end of the game, just say goodbye! I clear up!

1st Bull Run. The opening Battle of the War also known as First Manassas by the Confederacy. McDowell’s Blue Bellies versus Beauregard’s Rebs, which side will you choose.
This is the first of our one day games midweek, providing an opportunity to get a game in all in one day. Over a 28′ wide battlefront, re-fight the opening engagement and knock the Confederacy into submission, or repeat history and drive the Union brigades from the field in disarray.
It’s up to you..All you need bring is yourself, I provide all the figures and gaming equipment you will need, no setup and no clearing away, walk in and walk out.
All you need do is drop me a line and I will confirm your place and provide you with the details. A small deposit of £10 will be required, this can be bank transfer or by cheque. The balance is on the day.
