On a cold snow swept battlefield, the Russian forces of General Bennigsen were drawn into battle with the forces of Napoleons Grande Armée! Can the divisions of Augerau’s Corp make the assault on the Russian centre, will the blinding snow allow the Russians the opportunity to see their advance? You decide, take the place of Ney, Soult, Augerau or Murat and drive the Russians into the winter snow. Or take the mighty Russian twelve pound gun batteries and smash the upstart French despot for the Emperor Alexander, or even make the difference with the arrival of L’Estocqs Prussian force!
This battle will utilise In the Grand Manner rules and can facilitate up to ten players. The version of “In the Grand Manner” we use is a version that comes with a few amendments, specifically for melee, morale, the way skirmishers behave and fighting in woods. These amendments are supplied prior to the weekend upon request.
